Milk loaf (breadmachine)



Ingredients:
  • 200ml milk, room temperature
  • 100ml water
  • 450g strong plain white flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 25g butter, diced
  • 1 tsp fast-action dried yeast
Preparation:

Pour milk and water into the bread pan.
Sprinkle over the flour, covering the liquid completely.
Place the salt, sugar and butter in separate corners of the pan.
Make a small indent in the centre of the flour and add the yeast.
Close the lid, set the machine to "Basic White"/ "Normal" or equivalent, then select the loaf size and crust type. Press Start.
After baking, remove the bread pan from the machine and turn the loaf out onto a wire rack to cool.
Serve in slices.
