Moody blues (juicing for PMT)

If you are one of the many women who suffers from cramps, irritability and stomach upsets due to your menstrual cycle, try this recipe. 
Rich in vitamin A and C, iron, potassium, calcium and folic acid, it helps to replace iron levels and combat lethargy and tiredness, water retention and bloating and it calms your moods.

Pineapple contain bromelain which is a great muscle relaxant and blackberries are good sources of folic acid.

Ingredients:

375g blackberries
1 small pineapple

Preparation:

Juice the blackberries first, then the pineapple, to push through the pulp.
Blend the juice with a couple of ice cubes and serve in a tall glass.
