Fragrance know-how

Always apply fragrance after you've applied body moisturizer and before you get dressed. Your body heat will help release the scent and the moisturizer will help the fragrance stick to your skin.

Trial a fragrance scent for a full day before you buy it. It's important to see how it smells on your skin, how long it lasts for, and if you still like it 8 hours later after the top and middle notes have worn off.

Heavily perfumed body washes and lotions can interfere with the smell of your fragrance. To maintain your favourite scent, use unperfumed body products.

Mist a few spritzes of your favourite fragrance over your clothes while they're drying on your rack. It will give them a lovely subtle smell. Just be careful to avoid delicate fabrics.
