Treat your body!...

Home Spa
To help keep it healthy and minimize the risk of illness, re-energise your body with a hydrotherapy bath. A warm bath can help revive joint and muscle pain, while a cold bath thins the blood, increases blood sugar and leaves the skin fresh and tingly.

Always replace moisture
Baths and showers always rob skin of its moisture, even if you use a very gentle body wash. Always use body oil or a specially formulated body lotion after bathing to replace lost moisture and keep skin hydrated.

Honey hydrating wrap
To rehydrate tired skin and replenish moisture, try a luxurious heated milk and honey body wrap at your favourite spa or salon. Honey acts as a natural humectant and the warm treatment will leave aching muscles thoroughly relaxed.

Rejuvenation body wrap
Wrapping the body from chest to toes in a mineral mud or seaweed soaked cloth will invigorate tired skin, enhance circulation and help to detoxify, which will leave skin revitalized and glowing

Lighten up
Darker areas of skin, as at the knees and elbows, are the result of very dry skin and accumulated skin cells. These will benefit from an intensive exfoliation treatment, followed by a rich moisturizing cream. To lighten skin at the elbows, cut a lemon in half and rub each half into an elbow.

Knees and elbows
The skin at the knees and elbows is prone to sagging and dryness as there are few oil glands there. Ease rough, cracked skin with a paraffin treatment. Used medically to aid aching joints, warm nutrient-rich paraffin is brushed on the area and allowed to harden before being removed. The treatment aids circulation, softens rough skin, cleanses the pores and loosens joints.

Body brushing
Get into the habit of body brushing every day to slough off dead skin cells, boost circulation and encourage new regeneration. Skin will look smoother because better circulation helps to disperse fatty deposits.
