A hand cream especially good for hard-working hands. It costs very little but if you are not able to store it, you can use half of the ingredients measuring.
To make calendula tea, pour a cup of boiling water over half a teaspoon of dried calendula flower petals and let it steep until cool.
Ingredients:
30g cosmetic grade beeswax, grated or shaved
1/2 sesame oil
3 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp honey
30ml calendula tea
3 drops lavender essential oil
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Preparation:
In a small bowl (microwave safe), mix all the ingredients. Set the microwave to a medium heat and cook for 30 seconds or until the beeswax is melted. Remove from the microwave and allow it to cool.
Pour the mixture into a wide-mouthed, sterilized jar with a tight top.
Store in a cool, dark place until ready to use.
