Ingredients:
1 can (400g) chick peas
2 chopped cloves of garlic
lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
olive oil and paprika to serve
Preparation:
Drain the liquid from the chick peas into a small pan and add the garlic.
Cook over medium heat for 7-8 minutes, uncovered, until the garlic is softened.
Leave to cool then blend until smooth.
Season to taste with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Serve in a bowl with a little olive oil poured over and sprinkle with paprika.
